There are plenty of activities that you can use tap & die sets in. These simple and versatile tools are utilized to create the inner and outer threads and come with many different options and features. Such sets come with T-Handles which are used to form threads on metal surfaces by cutting with the actual die opening. In order to lower various movements during work, the pieces themselves are adjoined tightly together with the help of a special vice. Their die adapters work on both hexagonal and round units.
Many sets come with ratcheting T-Handles which eliminate unnecessary hand-over-hand revolutions and can easily be torqued.
