This assembly includes a 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator and two 3M™ 2091 P100 Particulate Filters. This assembly is NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. When properly fitted, this respirator helps provide protection in a variety of applications including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). This respirator is remarkably comfortable, soft, and lightweight, and features easy-to-adjust head straps. The swept-back design of the cartridges helps improve balance and visibility. Easy-to-adjust head straps allow for a customized fit to the user. When used to capacity, the included cartridges can be removed and replaced with new P100 Filter/Cartridges or other NIOSH approved 3M™ 2000 or 2200 Series Filters or 6000 Series Cartridges. The respirator can also be disassembled, cleaned, and reused, extending the life and cost effectiveness of the product.
NIOSH, a Federal government regulatory agency, has tested and approved the 6000 Series with 3M cartridges, filters or supplied air systems to help reduce breathing certain airborne contaminants. The 6000 Series is NIOSH approved for negative air purifying and positive pressure dual airline applications. The respirator comes with a P100 filter, which is replaceable. This half facepiece respirator may be used with any of these replacements: 3M™ Cartridge 6000 Series; 3M™ Filters 2000, 2200, 7000 or 5000 Series; or 3M™ Dual Airline Systems against a variety of gases, vapors, and particulate hazards according to NIOSH approvals.
Breathing hazardous particles, gases and vapors can be harmful to your health. The 3M™ half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6000 Series helps reduce exposure to many contaminants. Enhanced comfort and visibility features make wearing the respirator noticeably more enjoyable.
