- Unlike regular electrical tape which can slime-over after a period of time, this tape does not have adhesive so it will not melt in the high-temperature engine compartment
- This tape clings to itself when overlapped and will need to be tied-off with a knot at the end of the run

Using the 1" width when wrapping a dash harness or similar large diameter harness as it will use less linear feet of tape than the 3/4" width roll.
