Perfect-It™ 4" Foam White Hook-and-Loop Compounding Pad by 3M®. 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pads are highest-performing foam compounding pads for refining and removing sand scratches from automotive painted finishes. A foam face pattern provides consistent surface contact and holds compound to reduce slinging. These single-sided pads feature insets for easy centering on rotary polishers, and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for easy change-outs.
Fast-Cutting Wool with Less Lint for Effective Compounding.
Featuring a 100% wool abrasive that quickly refines paint defects including sand scratches of P1200 or finer, 3M™ Perfect-It™ Low Lint Wool Compounding Pad is excellent for the compounding process in collision repair. These fast-cutting single-sided pads feature 100% wool fibers which are individually stitched to the pad instead of twisted into tufts. This means that the fibers hold more securely to the pad vs. twisted fibers during use, greatly reducing the chance of lint particles which can add cleanup time and even rework. A 4" diameter is great for control and access when compounding small areas and in tight spaces. Compounding pads feature insets for quick attachment to rotary polishers and Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for easy pad change-outs.

The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pad features hooks which grip the brushed nylon loop backing of your Hookit™ backup pad. It's simple: just attach the pad and start compounding. The pad removes just as cleanly and easily. The Hookit™ system is designed for work spaces and applications where adhesive backed abrasives may become contaminated by dust, dirt or debris.
