Air Hoses
The quality of the hose that drives pressurized air from the compressor to your air sander, air drill, or whatever pneumatic tool you use is paramount to ensuring reliable performance. However, the market offers so many options that choosing the most suitable air hose for your needs is not always easy. The first aspects to consider are the length and diameter. If you work with just a couple of tools on the same workbench, then you do not need a long hose. If you need to change position frequently and move around objects, longer hoses are required. Selecting the proper length is critical to optimize the airflow and reduce the losses due to friction, curves, etc.
Hoses are defined by the inside diameter which ranges from 1/8'' to 1/2'', with larger sizes ensuring greater air capacity. Other factors you need to consider are the maximum working pressure (MWP) and material. The commonly used materials include polyurethane, nylon, rubber, polymers, and PVC, among others. Each material has its own physical characteristics such as weight and flexibility, which affect performance and lifespan. For example, nylon is light and flexible but has a shorter service life than other materials like polyurethane. We have a vast array of quality air hoses of every size, length, and material to fit different applications and meet every possible need.
