Air shears can cut various materials including metal sheets up to 20 gauge. Single cut shears work exactly like common shears, while double-cut models feature two cutters to remove a strip of metal. The strokes per minute range from 2500 to 2600, and air consumption can vary from 4 to 7 cube feet per minute (CFM).
