Annular cutters are utilized to make openings in various metals and their alloys. Such tools are designed to make a groove at the opening’s peripheral while leaving a slug at its center; it allows for making large holes much quicker and more accurate than with a usual drill. Such cutters differ in their designs and the materials they are made of and can be divided into two basic types including tungsten carbide tipped cutters and high-speed steel ones.
