Founded back in 1908, Central Tools started its business activity with the production of micrometers. Since then, the company's name has been synonymous with high precision and quality. Its assortment has been gradually growing, and these days, it includes several popular brands such as Moody Tools, King Tools, Storm, and homonymous Central Tools. The last two brands are known for the same range of products – micrometers, digital calipers, dial indicators, etc. Moody Tools incorporates probes, scribers, screwdriver sets, and spring positioners. Tip cleaners, pin vises, small tip drills, carbide scribers, and other goods belong to the King Tools line.
Hiving a facility in Cranston, Rhode Island, the company manufactures most of these products in the United States. Many of them are rather specific and meant for experienced mechanics. A Central Tools torque wrench can be extremely useful if you want to assemble the motor or other machinery without breaking a thread of some bolts or nuts.
