Dent Fix Equipment Corporation was established in 1979 by Max Spitznagel. The company’s engineers designed, developed, and built a stud welder for the auto body shop industry. The revolutionary design made the collision repair professional’s job much easier and the end result quality much higher. That is the recipe for success that the company keeps implementing to this day under the guidance of the founder’s son and CEO, Erik Spitznagel. Today, Dent Fix tools are some of the most efficient products on the market.
In 2012, the company relocated into a large manufacturing facility in Gardena, California. Here Dent Fix specialists design and manufacture an almost full assortment of essential equipment that body repair shops may need to use for fixing virtually any damages in steel, aluminum, or plastic automotive body panels. The company’s engineers created and patented many innovative tools that help fix damages in hard-to-reach areas of the vehicle’s body or frame. For example, Dent Fix dent puller kits include all the tools and supplies needed for paintless dings and hail damage repairs when the access to the back panel is impossible without cutting and welding.
Such a kit is very easy to use. You just attach a specifically-shaped pulling nib to the ding using special heat glue and pull with a T-shaped or squeeze puller or punch the damage out with a slide hammer. Glue residue is easily removable with rubbing alcohol. Possible high points can be easily punched down. A Dent Fix body line tool is used for recreating curves on damaged fenders. It is an ingenious and very simple solution to the problem of tracking the original lines on damaged panels for their proper recreation. Another popular product line is Dent Fix hole punch pliers. With just a little pressure applied, you can punch out holes for plug welds.
