X-Tra Range™ 4 to 12" SAE Steel Dial Bore Gauge with Carbide Anvils by Fowler High Precision®. Bore gauges measure holes, or bores, in a workpiece. They can measure the interior diameter of a hole at any depth. Measures bores to a depth and has an insulated grip for extra stability. Uses a two-point contact system for the detection of geometry problems such as ovality and taper, and carbide-tipped contact points provided extended wear and 'mproved abrasion resistance.
