Gardening is truly rewarding. Still, no matter how much you enjoy yourself while digging, planting, and repotting, it is pretty hard and even exhausting manual work. However, it can be done in an easier and more effective manner if you have the right tools at hand. A trowel is a simple and versatile tool. You can use it for digging through different kinds of soil, extricating rooted plants, repotting seedlings, and doing other gardening activities.

What should you pay attention to when it comes to choosing a trowel? Material is one of the key factors determining your choice. Metal tools are known to be rather tough and sturdy while their plastic and resin counterparts trail them in terms of rigidity, but instead have some other advantages. Usually, they are molded from a single piece of plastic or fiberglass so their handles are pretty unlikely to come unstuck. Some of these tools have serrated blades to easily cut into compacted soil. On our digital shelves, we showcase a great variety of garden trowels that come in different shapes and materials.
