You may be a handyman who occasionally works with glass or a professional who engages in installing window panels. Regardless of the case, you will need special glass cutters which will help you trim the material to the necessary size. These tools are used to make a score on the surface of the glass, which makes it split exactly where you need. Such a groove separates the workpiece as planned while the edges remain quite even. Such cutters use sharpened diamonds to make a split, with smaller-size wheels made of tungsten carbide or steel.

The rim’s tip has a diameter of approximately 1/4” featuring a V-shaped profile. The sharper the angle, the deeper the cut will be. Such products come with ball-end handles designed to snap off remaining material. Some models also feature special teeth created to remove rough edges. The articles should be used with special oil or kerosene, in order to lube and cool the wheel. When used together with lubricants, such glass cutters offer a considerable lifespan, deeper penetration, and easier opening of the glass. If you need a cutter, then you can always purchase it here.
