Wire Termination Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for all IDEAL® Twist-On Wire Connectors, Push-In Wire Connectors, Luminaire Disconnects, Grounding Products, Streetlight
Kits, Electrical Terminals, Crimp Connectors, Screw Connectors, Terminal Strips/Blocks, Tap Connectors, Connector Socket and
Set Screw Holders unless otherwise noted. Limited twelve (12) month replacement warranty. Warranty limited to repair or replacement of product. Excludes defects caused
by abuse, loss, misuse, neglect, alterations, accidents, improper storage, or improper installation. IDEAL cannot warrant the
performance of the above-noted products when used with non-IDEAL brand connectors. Use of these products with non-IDEAL
brand connectors will void this Limited Warranty.
Hand Tools Warranty
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY – This product is guaranteed to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for as long as you own this product. A defective product will be
repaired or replaced, at the option of IDEAL, free of charge (excluding shipping charges).
Warranty excludes replaceable component parts, normal wear and tear, and defects
caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, alterations or accidents. Consequential or incidental damages are not recoverable
under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This
LIMITED WARRANTY gives you specific legal rights, which vary from state to state. The
warranties given herein, together with any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the term of this warranty. IDEAL
distributors have no authority to make representations or warranties other than those
contained in this warranty.
Test and Measurement Products Warranty
Testers are warranted to the original purchaser against
defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days / 1 year or 2 years from date of purchase.
During the warranty period, a defective tester will be, repaired or replaced with the same
product or a functionally equivalent product, at the option of IDEAL INDUSTRIES,
INC., subject to verification of the defect or malfunction. Warranty does not cover
consumables such as fuses, batteries, and excludes defects caused by leakage from
batteries, abuse, mishandling, dropping, ordinary wear and tear, misuse, neglect,
unauthorized repair, improper use, alterations, accidents or any causes beyond IDEAL’s
reasonable control. Consequential or incidental damages are not recoverable under this
warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This
LIMITED WARRANTY gives you specific legal rights, which vary from state to state.
This warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the
exclusive liability of IDEAL, and is in lieu of any and all other warranties, and expressly
disclaims all other warranties, implied, or statutory as to merchantability, fitness for
purpose sold, description, quality productiveness, or any other matter.
