JET Tools & Equipment

JET is a brand child of JPW Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of metalworking, woodworking and material handling products, offering customer-specific solutions for manufacturing products. JET Equipment was born in 1958 when the founder of the company, Leslie P. Sussman, took the first Boeing Jet Airplane trip from Seattle, WA to Japan. The brand began from providing manual chain hoists and trolleys. Over the years, JET has carried everything from electric chain hoists, air hoists. Beginning in the 70's JET introduced a full line of industrial air tools and material handling products which included paving breakers and backfill tampers and forklifts.

By the early '80s, as JET continued to grow, the metalworking products became the core business line. And 5 short years later, it launched it's woodworking product category rounding out the largest breath of product categories under one brand. In the 90's JET started designing and manufacturing its high quality machines and tools to stringent specifications. The company has an expert team of engineers both in the USA and overseas.

Over the years, JET's colors have changed from blue, to green, orange, and finally white that you see today on most of its products. The brand's product lines have grown, but one thing has remained the same. JET still carries the same message of quality product, with the best features and benefits in it's product class. JET prides itself on bringing new products to its customers.
