Product Details

CHEM3™ X-Large Chemical Resistant Powder-Free Green Nitrile Disposable Gloves (93260RP100) by Microflex®. 6 Pieces. Traditional disposable gloves are designed to provide protection against chemicals for only short periods of time – in the event of a splash; while chemical gloves typically have a thicker, sturdier design for longer lasting protection. Ansell designed MICROFLEX 93-260 to be thin, chemical-resistant disposable gloves that offer higher levels of protection against chemicals for longer periods of time than ordinary single use gloves. At just 7.8 mils thick, these thin nitrile and neoprene gloves offer this superior protection while also providing enhanced tactility and dexterity for easy handling of small parts and tools. MICROFLEX 93-260 gloves achieve this through an innovative three-layer design that resists a wide range of aggressive chemicals. The exterior nitrile layer delivers maximum protection against several organic solvents, while the soft neoprene middle layer provides acid and base resistance. A final interior layer provides a continual dry feel, while also easing the donning and doffing process. MICROFLEX 93-260 chemical-resistant disposable gloves meet the requirements for both EN 374 certification in Europe, and KOSHA certification in Korea. When tested against aggressive chemicals like Sulfuric Acid, N Heptane, Hexane and Methanol, these nitrile and neoprene gloves demonstrate impressive permeation breakthrough times. MICROFLEX 93-260 are silicone-free to prevent surface defects when wearers handle objects and equipment finished with paint and other coatings. They have a low acceptable quality level of 0.65 AQL to reduce the risk of exposures due to pinhole defects. MICROFLEX 93-260 gloves also feature an extended cuff for added protection over the wrist and forearm.

The Best Disposable Gloves Available, Hands Down.
After trying auto parts store brand gloves of all types, as well as several medical grade disposable gloves I found these Microflex Safegrip gloves, and now I refuse to work with any others. These gloves are thick enough that they don't tear the second they come near a sharp object, but thin enough that they don't cause hand fatigue after wearing them for 8-10 hours at a time. The textured fingertips are great at holding on to small nuts bolts or objects even when covered in oil or other slippery messes. Plus I have been able to use a variety of touch screen devices without having to take a glove off, or worse yet, without having to cut the fingertip off a glove, defeating the whole purpose of wearing gloves! The only thing I haven't been able to do is use a fingerprint scanner while wearing these gloves, but then, I didn't really expect to be able to do that anyway. If left in extreme heat in inside an enclosed car during a HOT day, for extended periods of time (like a month or more) the gloves will break more easily. Again no surprise there, such is the nature of latex. If left in extreme cold, say 35 deg Far or below, the gloves can become more brittle and can be prone to tearing while putting on. I've found that putting them in a warm pocket for a few minutes, or just holding them in your hands (warm hands of course) will greatly reduce the chance of cold gloves tearing. The box clearly states that they are intended for single use only, but if being used in a non-sterile environment, and without caustic chemicals, these gloves will hold up to several days usage! ~One Extremely Satisfied Customer
