5/16"-24 x 2-7/8" Grip Faced Back-Up Pad (102GG) by Mirka Abrasives®. Carat Flex is a stearate coated abrasive product for dry sanding applications. Carat Flex has been developed especially for hand sanding of wood, sealers, paint and lacquers. The backing consists of a flexible, impregnated latex paper, which is ideal for profile sanding. The grain adherence is also extremely good. Carat Flex has a fine stock removal and the silicon carbide grains provide a uniform scratch pattern. The resin bonding and the stearate coating guarantee a long life time.

Mirka power tools have a two-year warranty starting from the date of purchase and covering defects in material and workmanship.

NOTE! If the tool is continuously used in industrial applications, the warranty period is one year.

To keep your tool warranty valid the tool needs to be used, maintained and operated in compliance with the safety and operating instructions. However, if a problem occurs with your Mirka power tool, caused either by a manufacturing defect of the material or by workmanship, Mirka will repair your power tool free of charge in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions. Warranty does not cover:

Any damage caused by misuse, neglect in usage or maintenance, accidents, exposure to extreme temperatures, acids, water, unsuitable storage, excessive impact, or transport damages
Defects caused by spare parts, accessories or components other than Mirka original spare parts or accessories
Pneumatic tools used with non-filtrated air or without lubrication
Normal wear and tear items such as: backing pad, break seal, shroud, rotor, vanes, exhaust fitting, muffler, bearings, carbon brushes, rubber mount, battery (with more than 300 charges), or power cable
Tools that have been: modified, repaired or repair attempts (by other than Mirka authorized service), partly or completely disassembled tools
