Power Riveters
Even though today the assembling of metal structures is primarily carried out using welded or bolted joints, riveting is still utilized in cases when the light weight of materials and high strength of the joint are crucial factors (in an aircraft, for example). Some sheet-metal alloys may deform and lose their properties or integrity when welded, so riveting method is preferred. Also, rivets are widely used in the production of automotive brake pads, latches, brackets, and so on. There are many types of power riveters available on the market, including riveting drill adapters, pneumatic hammers, pneumatic-hydraulic rivet power tools, and stationary industrial-grade riveting machines.
On the digital shelves of our store, you can find a wide range of power riveters by some of the most reputable manufacturing companies in the industry. A riveting drill adapter is the simplest and the most affordable tool that can convert an ordinary power drill or even a cordless screw gun into a power pop riveter that can be used for the installation of so-called “blind rivets.” A pneumatically-powered hammer is used to drive rivets, tails of which are supported by a bucking bar. An air-hydraulic riveter works similarly to a pop-rivet gun. Note that you need an air compressor to power this type of tool.
