Transfer Punches

Transfer punches are special tools meant to mark a place for making a hole. Available in different outer diameters, they are usually inserted into the openings of a housing or outer parts of a mechanism; when hit, they make the hole’s center point on the surface beneath. The punches are utilized to duplicate the patterns of openings of some components, or to set locations for holes with threads, after they have been drilled and tapped, in order to bolt the part to the material underneath.
