Pin Punches

Pin punches are durable metal rods with a specially-shaped tip and a blunted end. They are utilized to safely insert or remove roll pins and springs without causing damage to them or to make the shaped tip’s impression up on some workpiece. They are machined from durable grades of steel or vanadium-chromium alloys, which are sometimes thermally-treated and then quenched in special liquids. If higher quality is desired, then nitrogen dipping is often utilized.
