Mr. Thompson established the company in 1980 selling the products from his vehicle's trunk. By 1982, the company was expanding and became incorporated, and in 1990 it moved into its present facility.

Thompson, Inc. has started manufacturing a new line of Made in the USA metal cutting tools specially engineered for the automotive aftermarket. Cutting tools and drill bits by KnKut became popular under the 'The Hole Solution' motto as firm, reliable, and reasonably priced metal cutting tools.
Having more than thirty years of experience, the company provides a vast line of KnKUT tools which are a nationally distributed product within the automotive tools and equipment industry.
